NEW!! The Body Shop Drops of Youth - Youth Cream

I'm finally back with a review of a brand new product. Now that I'm finally settled into my new house, I thought it would be a good idea to get back into the blogging routine, by talking about one of my recently discovered, favorite products. I was introduced to this new moisturizer about three weeks ago.

The Youth Cream was introduced into the already existing Drops of Youth line, which has caught the attention of many individuals looking to fight the signs of aging. The Drops of Youth Facial Serum Concentrate has quickly become one of their world-wide bestsellers.

First off, I love the name of this product. Every time I pick it up off the counter in the morning, I think of how this is the closest I will get to slathering the fountain of youth all over my face. All jokes aside, this is one of the best moisturizers I have found. It has an air-whipped formula that feels very lightweight. The cream claims to moisturize the skin for 48 hours. I'm all about moisturizing my skin without it feeling like I have layers of cream on my face. Since I have combination/oily skin, creams that are lightweight seem to be the perfect way to balance my oiliness.

The Youth Cream contains what they call their "plant stem cell technology", which includes plant extracts from the following flowers: Edelweiss, Sea Holly, and Criste Marine. This helps to tighten, moisturize, smooth and hydrate your skin. It claims to make pores look tighter, lines appear smoother, skin feel bouncier, while also providing 48 hours of hydration. The product does pair very nicely with the Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate that I already own as well.

After using the product for the last few weeks, I can honestly say my skin has been feeling very hydrated and soft. I have only been using the product in the morning after washing my face and I can see a difference in the overall feel of my skin. I like to think of this product as the drink of water my skin needs to start the day. Some people prefer to use the cream at night, but it's just up to your personal preference.

I recommend this moisturizer to anyone looking to fight the signs of aging. You can take a stop into a Body Shop for a free skincare consultation, where they will walk you through an entire personalized skincare routine that is just right for you. Have any of you tried this product? Let me know in the comments down below!

Cheers,
Haleigh
